What are your sources of authority? Have you ever had a source of authority prove false? Is the Bible your most important source of authority? Why or why not?

Do you think our nation would respond to a presidential call to fast and pray for the nation? Would you? Psalm 127:1 reminds us, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” May God be glorified as He builds the house that is America!

Do you have an important decision you are dealing with right now? Try using the four ways to discern the will of God, and see if God doesn’t give you more clarity. May God be glorified as He uses you to advance His Kingdom.

God wants more from us than belief in Him. satan believes there is a God. How important is your faith in God to everything you do? Have you placed God at the center of your life in every way? If you choose to do so, then God will be glorified in all you think, say, and do.

When was the last time you confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Please do it again today, or maybe for the first time. What was the greatest sacrifice you ever made for someone else? May God be glorified in all you think, say, and do.

How often do you turn to prayer to discern what God is doing in your life, and seek to do things according to His will? When things aren’t going right, do you trust your own wits and wisdom first, or quickly turn to prayer to find God’s answers? Do you have a regular prayer routine in good times, where you learn to listen for God’s gentle whisper to your soul, or do you primarily pray when you are in trouble? May we give God all the glory when He uses us to advance His Kingdom.

As you begin a new year, does God have a great adventure waiting for you? How do you discern what God’s will is? Have you fallen in love with your comfortable life? How do you get started being faithful and obedient to God in a new way?
